East Londoner Jernade has spent the past year both in London and Los Angeles recording and writing, with production credits coming from ADP (Krept & Konan, Zayn Malik) Chrishan (Chris Brown, Kid Ink), Willie Donut (Jeremih), and has features from Dr Dre Aftermath prodigy Candice Pillay on the track Speak.
His latest single Tequila was recorded and written in L.A. His debut mixtape was co written & Produced by super producer Chrishan whose credits include Chris Brown (HBOAFM), Kid Ink and Little Mix.
Jernade’s style has a contemporary R’nB/Pop feel that is both distinctive & fresh. He’s had support from UK heavyweight DJ Target on BBC Radio 1Xtra, as well as being pushed as the BBC Introducing Artist in Aug across BBC Radio 1Xtra, with additional support from Trevor Nelson, Charlie Sloth, A.Dot, and Jamz Supernova.
