In 2007, during their stint as lecturers at the Red Bull Music Academy (a series of workshops offered by the soft drink company, coupling seminars on dance music with club events), veteran producers <a href="spotify:artist:5IcRvSiReLydKCr56ObWuX">Steve Spacek</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:5IcRvSiReLydKCr56ObWuX">Spacek</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:03HmbNfPUCurmGnU4NNUhF">Black Pocket</a>) and <a href="spotify:artist:7wDfZhaCORLgP3K62R3MJK">Mark Pritchard</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:6YktolrgGPFMwWrmAgf4hu">Global Communication</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:18ddY9q3TfahyK9dG67fqq">Troubleman</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4uAg30iNN5PNH25F6fvMFY">Harmonic 33</a>) teamed up to form a ragga-influenced electronic project called Africa Hitech. Their debut EP, Hitecherous, was released on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Warp+Records%22">Warp Records</a> in 2010. Their debut full-length album, 93 Million Miles, was released on that same label in May 2011. Afterward, <a href="spotify:artist:5IcRvSiReLydKCr56ObWuX">Spacek</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7wDfZhaCORLgP3K62R3MJK">Pritchard</a> -- both serial collaborators -- continued independently with various projects, including <a href="spotify:artist:6VDV1yCgghJfUV5jhD6LQe">Beat Spacek</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2LSVtBi7E2gRXXzhHY1jXL">Harmonic 313</a>. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
