Metalcore band "Afterglow" irrupted into the metalcore scene with their 2020 singles "Ephemeral" and "Black Hole" which were placed on the top of Spotify's Metal editorial playlists <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWXIcbzpLauPS" data-name="New Core">New Core</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX6GRSnGELn7L" data-name="Got Djent?">Got Djent?</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXakaomPRkkDa" data-name="Top Of The Core">Top Of The Core</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXdiUbJTV2anj" data-name="New Blood">New Blood</a> along with <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX5J7FIl4q56G" data-name="All New Metal">All New Metal</a> as well as being featured on Sirius XM Octane's "Test Drive" and Dreambound on YouTube
The 4-piece from Mexico City are currently writing their debut album, with the first single "Like A Wave" being released in May 2022.
