Ahmed Khan, an independent Punjabi artist from Belgium, is reshaping the music landscape with his fresh, diverse sound. Growing up in Brussels, he blended Western and Punjabi influences to create his unique style. Initially a songwriter and producer, Ahmed ghostwrote for Punjabi stars before launching his own career, fusing Western and Punjabi elements. Inspired by a mix of musical backgrounds, Ahmed's journey began as a French rapper in Brussels. Moving to Manchester at 13 exposed him to the urban British Asian sound. Returning to Brussels, he focused on singing while still writing for others. Influenced by artists like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and contemporary acts like Hamza and Tory Lanez, Ahmed crafted a fusion sound. His debut single 'Overdose' gained recognition in 2016, and he evolved with tracks like 'Lifestyle.' Collaborations with artists like Arjun and Raxstar followed. Ahmed aims to represent Belgium as the first recognised Punjabi artist from the country, supported by platforms like BBC Asian Network, B4U Music and Rolling Stones. With a unique bilingual sound, Ahmed Khan has solidified his presence in the industry. Now, Ahmed Khan focuses on establishing his legacy in South Asian music scene. Exciting collaborations and releases with artists from India and Pakistan are on the horizon, promising a spectacular year ahead. Ahmed Khan is set to make a lasting impact in the music scene.
