Ahmer is a well-known rapper and music producer from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. He started composing music at a very young age, drawing inspiration from artists like 2Pac, Eminem, and 50 cent. To great praise from critics, Ahmer's debut album, in collaboration with Sez On The Beat, was released in 2019. His sophomore album "Azli," raised the bar for albums in DHH by breaking conventions and delving deeply into compelling storytelling through a strong body of work. Back home in Kashmir, Ahmer has shaped the local hip-hop scene and community by assembling some of the region's top artists into a collective known as Koshur Nizam. His music has inspired many budding artists from the valley, who plan on making it big and keep the hope alive.
