Zwolle based singer-songwriter Aïrto makes R&B influenced pop and soul music. He has worked as a producer and songwriter for numerous Dutch acts. After being named 3FM Serious Talent and Radio 6 a Soul&Jazz Talent in 2011 with his Motown reminiscing release ‘Mystery’ he disappeared behind the scenes to work on Lisa Lois’ follow up album. The lead single ‘Silhouette’ made it amongst the top-played radio songs of 2013.
In 2015, after the birth of his daughter, he decided to participate in a songwriting competition on television forcing him to write songs for weeks on end. DJ DANNIC swooped up <a href="spotify:album:3Yh2aFjcdrFdyww6k9Yuma" data-name="Light The Sky">Light The Sky</a>, one of the songs written on the show, and released a successful dance remix. After a period of development and collaborations he auditioned for The Voice to get his name out to the public again. He was the first contestant ever worldwide to perform an original song. He did so with success, his song <a href="spotify:album:2n8nUszCb1fMA9jSk81Htb" data-name="Tears (The Voice Of Holland Season 8)">Tears (The Voice Of Holland Season 8)</a> all 4 chairs turned got voted audition of the week by the public. He continued to work on new songs after the show as well as writing and producing for other artists.
‘Prism’ is the outcome of a concept, a journey, a process. Three songs, with 3 different styles of production, but they array the styles in which Aïrto moves as an artist.
