A conceptual project - made up of some of the biggest underground electronic producers under an alias - “AKA Orange” provides a celebration of British rave culture. Whether it’s using the exact instrumentation from the 1980s and 1990s tracks that inspired the music today, the artwork and logos that are provided by the original flyer designer, or the social media content that will uncover original British rave culture content that very few people have ever seen before, AKA Orange is an authentic nod back to the music and culture that UK rave music has been built from, with a fresh look to the future. AKA’s first track “SYSTEM” saw 750k streams across major DSPs and came with a much-spoken about mix which gained a Resident Advisor’s “Mix of the Day” pick.
