Kent’s rising indie rock five-piece aKadem are making serious noise with the release of their debut single ‘Hurricane’ via indie label Rezzonator Music. In proper retro punk style the 7" single was released on Red Vinyl as a limited edition of 100, available via their Bandcamp page.
All under 20 years old, the band bring a fearless energy and raw intensity that belies their age. Taking cues from Foo Fighters, Royal Blood, and Limp Bizkit, while nodding to Blur’s British edge and the guitar fire of Jimi Hendrix, aKadem deliver a sound that’s both urgent and refreshingly modern.
Their first single ‘Hurricane’ is a storm of heavy riffs, thundering drums, and soaring hooks — a statement of intent from a band ready to put Kent on the rock map.
