Texas rapper Al-D*300 has been on a tear since his release from prison in 2019. After releasing 14 full length albums that he sold directly to consumers from his social media accounts,he is now set to debut his new album Davis St. executive produced by Houston rap icon Lil Keke. Most of his albums were produced almost entirely by legendary Texas producer Mr. Lee who is responsible for countless southern and west coast classics like “Get Throwed” by Bun B and “Blue Laces” by the late Nipsey Hussle.
He was also stamped by famed Atlanta DJ Greg St who appears on his debut album and calls him, “the best rapper he’s heard since Cyhi the Prince.
Al-D*300 is unique in his musical choices and lyrical abilities. He often reflects on a troubled past, the Texas prison system, and the neighborhood that birthed him, Davis St.,with the effortless authority of a master composer. The Great State of Texas looks like they’re in capable hands.
