Al Zanders is a DJ, producer and label owner from London, known for his widely acclaimed edits, productions for Phonica Records and Roy Davis Jr’s Undaground Therapy Muzik, as well as his energetic and eclectic DJ sets.
It’s not hard to find Al’s productions popping up in DJ sets all across the scene. Midland’s Dekmantel Boiler Room, Gilles Peterson’s 6 Music show, Leon Vynehall’s BBC Essential Mix, Denis Sulta’s Mixmag Cover mix, the list goes on. Through consistent spins in the sets of the industries most revered DJ’s, Al has cemented his reputation as a go to for fun, genre bending productions that always deliver on a dancefloor. So much so that Roy Davis Jr decided to bring back his classic Chicago label Undaground Therapy Muzik after 16 years to release Al’s music - the 2018 Guidance EP. In summer 2023 Al is returning to the label, alongside edits and releases coming out digitally and on vinyl. His track Long Gone recently surpassed 3 million streams on Spotify.
After a short break following a brief hiatus, Al is back with a string of back to back releases across various imprints in 2023 and beyond, proving he's really only just starting.
