Influenced by 80s post-punk and the mix between gloomy atmospheres and energic guitar melodies, Ålakusten is the project of the childhood friends Joacim Darin (<a href="spotify:artist:0E5PmzUrY7669vkZb8bQX0" data-name="Östersjön">Östersjön</a>) and Eric Nilsson.
Everything started during the summer of 2021 back in their hometown in southeastern Sweden. They spent a lot of time in a cabin by the coast ”Ålakusten” (Eel coast) and recorded a couple of demos. Their debut release “Vattentorn” was one of those songs.
They are now based in Gothenburg, SWE and are planning to share the rest of the songs that were made that summer in their hometown.
