Alderfliegen is the solo folk project of Victor Ogle from Appalachia. Alderfliegen uses militant electronic production, folk inspired guitar, and medieval-esque lyricism to create his unique sound. Typical Alderfliegen lyrics contain themes of Germanic paganism, English folklore, European history, and spiritual esotericism. He takes a lot of inspiration from traditional Germanic and Celtic folk music, but pulls from many other genres like 60s psychedelic, neofolk, and post-punk.
