Almost Awake is the creative partnership of guitarist and bassist Nihal Garach and songwriter/producer Brandon Hamilton. Longtime collaborators and former members of the progressive metalcore band Her Last Words, the duo came together once again to explore a softer, more distinctive sound that sets them apart from their heavier roots. Drawing inspiration from the collaborative energy of the early 2010s, Almost Awake blends Garach’s intricate instrumentation with Hamilton’s lyrical depth and full-scale production, crafting music that is both dynamic and emotionally resonant. In addition to his work with the band, Hamilton continues to build his career as an independent artist, producing his own beats and writing original material.
