Matia “Ambassa” Gobbo is an Italian-born, UK-based bass player and music producer.

Born near Udine in north-east Italy, Ambassa grew up close to the Rototom Sunsplash festival, where he was immersed in reggae from a young age. After playing in various reggae bands in Italy, he moved into music production in the mid-2000s, leveraging the rise of accessible DAWs like Reason and Logic.
