Bud made a huge splash with her debut single 'City Bird,' which was playlisted by BBC Introducing on Radio 1 and 1Xtra and featured in their top 20 most played artists of 2016. The Nottingham based singer/songwriter has played festivals such as Bestival, The Great Escape, Y Not Festival, Boomtown Fair and Splendour. She performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Y Not Festival. She also supported the main stage at the hugely popular Bestival with headliners including Rag'n'Bone Man, Laura Mvula, Dizzee Rascal and A Tribe Called Quest. She returned from Monsoon Festival, in Hanoi, Vietnam where she showcased her new single 'Sugar' during her first international performance in 2017. Bud's roots are now firmly in reggae and dub, with a slight pop influence. More recently, she was in the studio with Grammy award winner Lee Scratch Perry, writing and featuring on tracks including "Mr Brown."
