Amber Kuo (AK) is a Mandopop singer and actress. Her unique vocal dexterity and diverse repertoire of musical styles always lend to her constant transformative and evolutionary nature. On December 25th, 2007, she embarked on her music career and released four solo records under Warner Music.
In 2015, after releasing the soundtrack album "Begin Again" from the same-titled film, she left Warner Music and went into hiatus. The name of the single foreshadowed her return as if she planted a seed that would bloom again some day in the field of independent music production in the future.
In 2017, Amber made a slight return to music with a vocal feature on "Another Me In The World", a single release by <a href="spotify:artist:4yamiVzQPYBb02ceSu0jaI" data-name="A Si">A Si</a>, one of the most popular indie artists in Mainland China.
Two years later, she collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:4yamiVzQPYBb02ceSu0jaI" data-name="A Si">A Si</a> again, and also with ARNY, the frontman of the Taiwanese post-rock band Constant & Change, to release a single "To Be A Serious Man" as her 12th year debut anniversary as a singer.
In 2020, as the world is paused and gripped with chaos from the pandemic, Amber pursued her long-awaited adventure to explore the realms of new music genres and instrumentations.
Teaming up with the electronic musician <a href="spotify:artist:0eaolMYX1CktIycAHBwt70" data-name="Yider">Yider</a>, she announced her full-length album "Vol.13-1986 The Journey of Sleepless Sheep", alongside the single release, “NaKuNa”, on Christmas Day 2020.
Using the moniker “AK”, Amber is poised to march towards the future indefinitely with her music.
