Andrea Wasse is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose career spans pop, rock, and electronic music. She first gained recognition as a member of The Weekend (not to be confused with The Weeknd), a power-pop/alternative band that made waves in the early 2000s. She later became one-half of the electro-pop duo Digital Daggers, known for their dark, cinematic tracks featured in TV shows, films, and commercials. Wasse has also been a key member of the Los Angeles-based dream-pop band Nightjacket, bringing her signature ethereal vocals and songwriting talents to their atmospheric sound.

Beyond her own projects, Wasse has built a strong career as a songwriter and collaborator, including co-writing “Going Down Fighting” for the alternative rock project Phlotilla.

Most recently, she co-wrote and contributed vocals to Tep No’s track “Thunderstruck,” further showcasing her ability to craft emotive, genre-blending music. Whether performing or working behind the scenes, her evocative voice and sharp lyrical skills can be heard coming from streams and screens across the world.
