Anekka began her singing career as a young woman in cafés and jazz bars. She was discovered there by one of the original producers of the famous Bossa N Stones series who invited her to audition for their next project. Needless to say, she was a hit and then joined the recording sessions. Shortly thereafter she recorded Beast of Burden with the band. After meeting and befriending Os Digitalistas and Celso Mendes at the studio, she decided to dive further into the world of bossa and joined the recording of bossa nova versions of Guns ‘n Roses, the fruit of which is her spectacular take on Live and Let Die.
