Community Swimming Pool

Community Swimming Pool (CSP) is the dreamy indie guitar band led by Glasgow-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bmac.

Raised in a musical household on both the east and west coasts of Scotland, Bmac began learning guitar from his dad and grandad—two passionate players who passed down a love for music spanning country, rock, 80s new wave and 90s indie. Those early moments, like hearing his grandad sing and play while he sat in the bath as a child, sparked a lifelong connection to sound.

After playing in bands from the age of eleven, CSP became the natural evolution—a place where shimmering guitars, melancholic synths, and emotionally honest lyrics come together in a haze of dreampop and modern nostalgia.

The band is made up of Bmac (vocals, guitar), Alex Farnham (guitar), Stuart Johnston (bass), and Andrew Turnbull (drums), blending lush textures with a lived-in warmth that defines CSP’s sound.

With regular live shows, self-produced releases, and a growing catalogue of heartfelt songs, CSP continues to shape their space in the indie landscape.
