Ángel Sánchez Borges is a composer and performer from Monterrey, México, who started in 1985 as cellist and pianist in a Rock In Opposition band called Oh! Cráneo; at the end of the 80&#39;s he played guitar and was the lead singer of different noise rock combos such as Voluptuosas Orquídeas and in the 90&#39;s Superdrogas and the dub and electro rock project Slowmotionlove. Since 2001 as <a href="spotify:artist:1DrRtaVEJaulXd9SelnyTh" data-name="Antiguo Automata Mexicano">Antiguo Automata Mexicano</a>, Sánchez Borges recorded various albums addressing sounds ranging from glitchy minimal techno to kraut rock intensity, from wide and ample ambient noise to sequences that recalls prog rock. Since 2005 he made music as <a href="spotify:artist:5B43Rgpgi3Mno8FHXWzAKx" data-name="Seekers Who Are Lovers">Seekers Who Are Lovers</a> as well. He has composed music for contemporary dance and cinema and recently created the score for Julián Hernández&#39;s film &#39;Rencor Tatuado&#39;. His new album &#34;20&#43; Piano Improvisations&#34; will be released on July 2, 2021 by Tijuana&#39;s record label Static Discos.
