APRIL 2ND is a rock quartet consisting of 4 members who actually met together on April 2nd of one certain spring. APRIL 2ND adds a rock-based sounds to the unique tone of the vocals.
The band has continuously captivated critics and audience members alike since winning the EBS “Hello Rookie!”, KT&G “Band Discovery!” and “Hong-Dae Street Song” contests. They have performed at many festivals both locally and internationally.
Additionally, APRIL 2ND has featured on numerous OST hit tracks like tvN’s "Crash Landing on You" in 2020, "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God" in 2017, "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" in 2020, and many more.
Their OST tracks topped the Asian(Taiwan, HK, Singapore and Thailand etc.) iTunes charts and currently these OST tracks are becoming known around the world since they start appearing on Netflix.
Especially, vocalist Kyunghee Kim.
He works as an OST producer for various popular Korean dramas and shows excellent composition skills.
Now the band extend their musical spectrum with their latest physical release and acclaimed EP [somewhere between you and me] as well as consecutively participating in various genres of OST.
