2024年6月30日に結成9周年を迎えたAqoursは、これまでの数々のライブイベントの集大成として、9人での最後のワンマンライブ 「ラブライブ！サンシャイン!! Aqours Finale LoveLive! ～永久stage～」の開催を発表。
2024年12月18日に発売されたフィナーレライブテーマソング「永久hours」は、ゴールドディスク認定で自身初となる「プラチナ認定」を受ける。
