1999年9月15日にハワイで結成、
同年11月3日にシングル「A･RA･SHI」でデビュー。

日本で通算54枚のNo.1シングルを獲得。
1700万枚以上のLIVE Blu-ray&DVDセールスや4400万枚以上のレコードセールスを記録し、
デビュー20周年を記念したベストアルバム「5x20 All the BEST!! 1999-2019」は2019年に世界で一番売れたアルバムとしての記録を樹立。
これまでのコンサートでは1400万人以上を動員し、デビュー20周年のコンサートツアーでは日本史上最大規模となるツアー動員数を記録。

2026年3月4日に、およそ5年半ぶりとなる新曲「Five」をリリース予定。
3月から5月にかけて「ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2026 『We are ARASHI』」の開催を控えている。

ARASHI (Masaki Aiba, Jun Matsumoto, Kazunari Ninomiya, Satoshi Ohno, and Sho Sakurai) is a Japanese five-member artist group.

Formed in Hawaii on September 15, 1999, they debuted with the single "A·RA·SHI" on November 3rd of the same year.

They have achieved a total of 54 No. 1 singles in Japan and have accrued sales totaling over 17 million LIVE Blu-ray & DVDs and 44 million records. Their 20th-anniversary best album "5x20 All the BEST!! 1999-2019" set the 2019 world record for best-selling album, and their concerts have drawn over 14 million attendees to-date; with their 20th-anniversary concert tour setting the record for the largest tour attendance in Japanese entertainment history.

Their new song "Five" will release March 4, 2026 as their first new track in approximately five and a half years.
They will also hold their final "ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2026 'We are ARASHI'" from March to May.
