The Artist Behind the Music 🎸🎹
From an early age, Branko Stojiljković was drawn to the magical world of music. His first instrument was the guitar, inspired by his father, but he soon switched to keyboards as his primary instrument.
At the age of 18, he started playing professionally in bands across Serbia, developing his skills in both live performance and production. It was his brother Bojan (Ascent) who introduced him to the world of electronic music, and together, they started blending live instruments with ambient-chill elements.
His journey began as part of the collaborative project Ascent & Argus, working alongside his brother Bojan Stojiljković (Ascent). Together, they released several notable works under Ovnimoon Records, including the EP "Four Oak Trees" (2012), the album "Beyond Sight", and the EP "Water: The Perfect Element". These releases showcased their unique blend of melodic and hypnotic psybient music.
After years of refining his sound, Argus debuted his solo album, "The Architect of Time", marking the beginning of his unique journey in deep-psy music. Since joining Altar Records in 2016, he has continued to push the boundaries of psychedelic and atmospheric music, creating compositions filled with soothing ethereal vocals, skillful sound design, and emotional storytelling.
