Emerging with their self-produced single 'In Torment' and their debut EP 'The Calling' whilst touring the length of UK, Arkdown have supported a glut of heavy hitters in the scene from Fit for an Autopsy and Decapitated, to Make Them Suffer and Oceans Ate Alaska.
With the release of their second standalone single, 'Miasmic' came a maturing step in the band's sound and an extension of their reach as they broke out of the UK to perform across Portugal and headline their first appearance in Switzerland. During 2020 Arkdown released their most ambitious record to date; ‘Terra Phasma’. Terra Phasma boasts the band’s move towards heavier and more technically written music, whilst maintaining their signature chorus melodies. Terra Phasma was met with widespread digital media coverage and airtime leading to the single ‘Harbingers’ being named one of BBC Introducing Sheffield’s Top 50 songs of 2021.
During late 2022 Arkdown returned to the studio and started teasing a new record withthe release of their new singles 'Holy Water' and 'Abyssal Heart'.
