Combining strong melodies with intricate rhythms, and a touch of hard-hitting djent and black metal references, Arkentype entered in the Norwegian progressive metal scene in 2015 alongside bands like <a href="spotify:artist:4lgrzShsg2FLA89UM2fdO5" data-name="Leprous">Leprous</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0Op82sqzI45fNMecmDiJDx" data-name="22">22</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0AhnRzNnHI2Yhx9d00H5Cp" data-name="Rendezvous Point">Rendezvous Point</a> with their debut album <a href="spotify:album:4XwfIiRej1Wwx5o70tiPUk" data-name="Disorientated">Disorientated</a> . After touring Europe with prog giant <a href="spotify:artist:2SRIVGDkdqQnrQdaXxDkJt" data-name="Haken">Haken</a>, the band reached new heights. In 2021 Arkentype sets it’s course toward releasing their second studio album.
