Dancehall artist Artikal whose real name is Shaquille Bennett, is fully focused on building his name into a brand and making lasting music that transcends eras and demographics. At 26 years old, the passionate songwriter and artist who hails from Brookvalley, Kingston 20, strongly believes that good public relations and a related image is just as important as making quality music. “Currently in the industry there are a lot of artist who are going to some great lengths to get publicity. I can’t say what they are doing is wrong or right, that is not my role, as I too know how hard it is to get the acceptance of the fans.
