Asanda Jezile born on the 17th September 2001 in London (UK), her parents who are also in the music industry from South Africa moved to the UK over 15 years ago. She started singing at the age of five. She entered the Britain’s Got Talent 2013 and became one of the Finalists. In November 2014 she was invited at the Global Gift gala by Eva Longoria to perform at the Four-Season Hotel in London amongst the likes of, Victoria Beckham, Cody Wise, Nicole Sherzinger, Ricky Martin and Alexander Burke. In April 2015, Asanda took part playing the role “Tallulah” for Bugsy Malone at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre till September 2015. The following month she won a special young achievers Award from the BEFFTA UK Special Awards. In November the singer performed for One to One Children’s Fund Rebuilding Lives, Conference at the Banqueting House in Whitehall UK and performed for FIDF (Friends of Israel Defence Forces) Western Region Gala in USA –Los Angeles Beverly Hilton Hotel with David Foster & Friends and The Beach Boys. In February 2016 she participated in Child4Child Cancer Day for International Childhood Cancer song, In June 2016 Asanda performed for the live German talent show ‘Super Kids’. In February 2018 she was selected as one of the Eurovision you Decide song contest to represent the United Kingdom with a song called Legends. Jezile has released her debut single called ‘Photogenic’ on the 17th April 2020.
