Astroleaf, also known as Ole Kristian Granerød was born in Norway in 1991. Growing up listening to trance in his teen years he became interested in producing music at the age of 17. He started out trying to replicate the sound of his favorite trance artists, and gradually became better at production over time. In 2015 after having experimented with different genres like Progressive House, Chillout and Trance, he started writing lyrics and recording vocals for his own tracks. After putting up songs and remixes on different music sites, and releasing some tracks through an independent distributor, he was finally discovered in 2017 by <a href="spotify:artist:4GmwTH6fQMdKM2DGpAbrZy" data-name="Silk Music">Silk Music</a>. His first official release was "Open Your Heart" featuring a remix by <a href="spotify:artist:2IK99qf3aYxFWkgCkc7kQ3" data-name="LTN">LTN</a> and not much later came the second release that really set the wheels in motion which was a collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:5x6H8meBBWk6J8qcIWxW7w" data-name="Mango">Mango</a> namely "We Tried", which also included a remix by <a href="spotify:artist:6T10DjLBN7wT5gtnPnhmEk" data-name="Talamanca">Talamanca</a>. Astroleaf's music is made with a lot of heart, and is an expression of his own love for music.
