Swedish pop phenomenon A*Teens, one of Sweden's biggest music exports of all time with over 6 million albums sold worldwide, reunites to release their first new song in over two decades - "Iconic".
Formed in 1998, A*Teens – consisting of Marie Serneholt, Sara Lumholdt, Dhani Lennevald, and Amit Paul – quickly became international superstars with their unique interpretations of ABBA's timeless hits. Their debut album, "The ABBA Generation," sold over 2 million copies globally and was certified Gold or Platinum in over 22 countries.
The group dominated charts worldwide with iconic hits including "Upside Down", "Halfway Around The World", and "Floorfiller", establishing themselves as one of Sweden's most successful music exports. Their music reached audiences across the US, South America, Asia, and Europe, and they toured alongside global superstars Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.
A*Teens' music has also been featured in major Hollywood blockbusters, including "Can't Help Falling In Love" as the end-credit song for Disney's "Lilo & Stitch," "Heartbreak Lullaby" in "The Princess Diaries," and most recently, a newly produced remix of "Dancing Queen" in Marvel's "Venom: The Last Dance" (2024).
After a 20-year hiatus, A*Teens made a celebrated return to celebrate their 25th Anniversary at Melodifestivalen 2024 with a spectacular medley featuring both their own hits and some of ABBA's most beloved songs.
