Balloon Pilot is a band from Munich and Berlin. In 2012 their first album (self titled) was released on Millaphon Records followed by „Eleven Crooked Things“ in 2016. Influenced by songwriters like Elliott Smith, Tom Waits, bands like The Beatles, Wilco or Radiohead and a variety of different styles ranging form Punk to Jazz, Balloon Pilot have gradually worked their way towards new territory. With their third album „Blankets“ which will be released on January 10th 2020, 10 brand new songs are trying to deal with the world in it’s current state and the confusion that comes with trying to make sense of it.
