Baltimores is a singer, songwriter and composer of reggae/dub music based in Marseille. Able to alternate between rub a dub, faststyle and vocals, and to ride any type of instrumental, he is currently one of the most active representatives of the new generation of French singers expressing themselves in Jamaican English.
Baltimores has made a name for himself in the reggae/dub scene thanks to a string of high-profile performances in sound system sessions as well as on some prestigious stages (Couleurs Urbaines, Delta Festival, Zenith de Toulon, Loupoulo Festival, Zion Garden, Espace Julien, Festival Couleurs Urbaines, Nuits du Sud, Erva Festival, Baou, Le Grand Bastringue, Le 6Mic, Bierhubeli (Berne), Dub Camp...). With his own live dub that he performs surrounded by a dubmaker at the analog console (Dedoo MHF) and a bassist (Romain Arrow-Bass). His live experience has also been honed by accompanying other dub groups (Ashkabad, Wicked Dub Division...).
After numerous singles and EPs in collaboration with beatmakers (including one with Ashkabad), and two albums (Study Trip - 2020; Global Crisis feat. MHF - 2023), Baltimores continues his musical exploration with the release of new singles from November 2024, for which he composed the riddims himself.
