Bazil is a French singer inspired by soul and Jamaican music. He recorded his first songs at 15 before moving to New York and Jamaica, where he shaped his sound. His debut album Stand Up Strong became one of France’s top-selling reggae records in 2011.

Over the years, Bazil has collaborated with Naâman, Flavia Coelho, Manudigital, Daddy Mory, and Zamunda, recorded dubplates for Major Lazer, and performed at major festivals like Solidays, Dour, SunSka, No Logo, Sakifo, Outlook, and Boomtown UK.

After his acclaimed albums Grow (2019) and Evening Flight (2024), Bazil keeps expanding reggae’s boundaries with soulful, digital energy. His 2025 singles — Strange Town, Longer Days, Big Stereo and Under Control — reflect a modern, powerful sound rooted in reggae tradition.

With more than 10 million Spotify streams and a new album coming late 2025, Bazil stands among the most distinctive voices in today’s European reggae scene.
