Banda AL9 is formed by brothers Matheus and Thiago Khouri. They started posting cover videos in 2017 and began releasing original music in 2018. Their EP "Isso É AL9" and subsequent singles gained traction, leading to viral success on TikTok with over 12 million views.
Their album "Amor É A Lei" (2023) catapulted them into mainstream media, with hits like "Chama De Amor" and "Americana". They appeared on major Brazilian TV shows, including "The Noite" ,"Programa do Ratinho", "Programa Silvio Santos" and caught the attention of Steve Aoki, who covered "Chama De Amor" and invited them to perform at Tomorrowland Brazil.
The band released an English-language version of the album, "Love Is The Law", and their song "She Calls Me Love" became a hit in the US. In 2024, they released the album "O Nono Rei" and partnered with Itaú bank for a promotional campaign at Rock In Rio. They also gave an exclusive interview to Billboard Brazil.
In 2025, they released the English-language version of the album, "O Nono Rei", "The Ninth King". Steve Aoki invited them to perform with him at Allianz Parque Stadium in São Paulo. With over 1 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, Banda AL9 continues to captivate fans worldwide with their exciting and authentic music.
