Founded by Dustin Payseur in 2009, Beach Fossils have steadily earned their stature as one of the most definitive and enduring bands of the New York underground. Payseur communicates a coming-of-age narrative of self-discovery, with slice-of-life lyrics reflecting on depression, love, adventure, loss, mistakes, and friendships; a mélange of granular pieces in the process of continuing to find yourself.

True to their DIY roots, Beach Fossils continue to be self-produced and self-released. Throughout, Payseur is joined by contributions from Tommy Davison, Jack Doyle Smith, and Anton Hochheim.
