Bei Bei (Bei Bei Monter, 荷蓓蓓) is a guzheng and guqin performer, composer, and recording artist. As one of the world’s premier guzheng musicians, she has played a key role in bringing this ancient Chinese instrument to a global audience. Since her 2006 debut, she has been featured on Disney soundtracks, performed with Christina Aguilera, and released several acclaimed albums. Her unique fusion of Chinese and Western music continues to resonate with a growing fanbase.
Born in Chengdu, China, Bei Bei studied at the Central University of Nationalities and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, developing the virtuosity that defines her sound. After moving to Los Angeles, she began creating contemporary fusion works with artists like Shawn Lee and Fingazz.
