Living on separate continents the odds often feel stacked against the Belle Miners but time and again they are pulled back by some mysterious force to live the magic one more time. You’ll often hear Felicia Harding say “we're holding this with an open hand” on every tour they perform as if it may be their last opportunity to make music together. With every performance you’re basically leaning in to watch friends who haven’t seen each other in ages be delighted at the mathematics of their voices calculated together in perfect harmony.

Just before the COVID-19 Pandemic strapped the planet into lock-down, the band had the distinct opportunity to record with Producer Dave Mann. Nestled under giant Eucalyptus Trees on a quiet property in Margaret River sits a CCan that Mann has lovingly transformed into a cozy little recording studio. The small size of the space lent itself to a very intimate and focused recording session for ‘Dandelion’ and ‘On The Ground’. Rewind to a few months earlier when the band was putting together the song ‘Cradle to Caves’ and Producer David Pensebene of Hopping Mouse studio heard just a snippet of the chorus on social media and chimed in on wanting to record the song. The Belle Miners jumped on the wonderful opportunity to record in one of the most charming studios in Western Australia. The vibe of the space sent the Band on a bit of a sonic journey and it will be one of the first times listeners will hear electric guitar added into the mix.
