The Golden Harp, received at the Buma Awards in 2020, acknowledges Ben's contribution and influence on the Dutch Music industry. It was presented to Ben by Armin van Buuren, who stated on many occasion seeing Ben as his Jedi-DJ. Armin dedicated his first no. 1 DJ award to Ben in 2007.
Ben himself was greatly influenced by producers and artists like Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Gino Soccio, Mauro Malavasi, Trevor Horn and Nile Rodgers. Ben's love for music is only equaled by his love for the technology it takes to make it. (He is a nerd!)
Besides DJ-ing, making Remixes and Productions, Ben also creates 3 radio shows each week.
In The Mix, a show concentrating on Disco and Dance Classics from the era 1977 to 1993.
In The House, featuring the latest House releases, often combined with unexpected acappellas, resulting in truly entertaining sets.
The Minimix, an espresso strength mix, packing a huge amount of tracks and creativity in just 5 minutes.
