Ben Seretan never seems to do anything halfway.

In 2021 he released <a href="spotify:album:3eJ7IPcsYrKu0GAf9RqIW6" data-name="Cicada Waves">Cicada Waves</a>, a serene album of piano soli captured amid the riotous sounds of the Appalachian Woods. Recently signed to Tiny Engines, the label is proud to reissue 2020's breakthrough album about breaking up and breaking up with God. Five years later, "Youth Pastoral" feels more praiseful and congregational than ever before, songs that match the mythic splendor of a California ocean baptism. The new "Deluxe" edition includes a new run of vinyl, a new master, a handful of never-before-heard demos, outtakes, and b-sides, plus newly commissioned album art by designer Alex Tatusian.
