Michael Scott Dawson is a Canadian sound artist and producer. His minimalist production explores ambient and electro-acoustic composition through synthesis, field recordings, collage, tape loops and manipulations. He is also a member of the free jazz outfit <a href="spotify:artist:3osiBkb0uSyLyMuWkWxjlU" data-name="Peace Flag Ensemble">Peace Flag Ensemble</a>. Much of his solo and collaborative work focuses on efforts to reconcile his relationship with music and technology.
