Bendi Boi

<a href="spotify:artist:4YkWOxl0pciukwOZd4FdfM" data-name="Bendi Boi">Bendi Boi</a> is a solo project of Shinji Kim from Seoul, South Korea. Kim started making music when she was in high school. She released a few experimental tracks under the name ZUJEKA. There was a pause in her musical career for a while. She published three fictions and hosted two exhibitions in an art duo Terra e inferno. She got out of the duo and restarted to make music. There began <a href="spotify:artist:4YkWOxl0pciukwOZd4FdfM" data-name="Bendi Boi">Bendi Boi</a> and another electronic duo <a href="spotify:artist:6uexctcFLMPE5wNi7Cnn4H" data-name="4x6">4x6</a>.

Bendi Boi is known best for her &#34;melodically driven somber atmospheric Post-Punk and a distinctive combination of English and German idioms&#34;(WL//WH). Bendi Boi appeared at the Post Punk scene in 2021 with her goth singing and witchy lyrics. However, she does not comply well with one specific grammar. She continues to release tracks with industrial and folk, techno influence and form a Bendi Boi style. Bendi Boi is greatly influenced by <a href="spotify:artist:4RuwsXTtshHIbbhgi7nAxY" data-name="Die Selektion">Die Selektion</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3544ImlskUwZqWJTmqWUsa" data-name="Myrkur">Myrkur</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6w8h2uD28BEdg7bX4k3Lh7" data-name="Lebanon Hanover">Lebanon Hanover</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3V4IvzRQYP5mzuVtkcHgVa" data-name="KMFDM">KMFDM</a>.
