BermudaCal has engineered and developed a unique sound fusing his background in jazz into hip hop, trap, and UK garage where his melodic hooks and lyrical melodies help bring every production he touches to life. With every genre he takes inspiration from, one element of his music that’s become noticeably signature is his use of saxophone; the instrument that introduced him to music while prompting a life-long mentorship with musician Kent Hayward, renowned for playing the horns alongside Quincy Jones in 2009.
Adding to the genre-bending music is the fact that Cal produces all of his music himself; now residing between London and his hometown Hamilton in Bermuda, he’s confident that his ability to control the tempo of his vocals, instruments, and production allows him to never compromise his creativity regardless of where he finds himself.
