BESNA, a post-black metal band from Bratislava, Slovakia, blends black metal, post-rock, and Slovak folklore in their melancholic yet intense sound. Their debut album, Zverstvá, won the Radio_Head Awards jury prize for Best Slovak Hard & Heavy record of 2022. Following this, they released the charity single Neha and collaborated with LUNATIC GODS on Vresovrenie.
In January 2025, they released a new album, Krásno, from which they had previously introduced two singles. The album features guest appearances by Jakub Tirco from the band IONS and Tomáš Beňuška from Solipsism. The band is currently supporting the album with a series of concerts in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and other European countries.
