NARRENWIND was founded in June 2018 by Ævil (<a href="spotify:artist:2SrE1EHeUbkDVsGTfIrHz0" data-name="SAURON">SAURON</a> , Weresoul, <a href="spotify:artist:2Xu47TsbFIn7GvlEMjGmh0" data-name="Doedsvangr">Doedsvangr</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:7KaLS79sGsmlKY3CmwoTDi" data-name="Ole devil & the Spirit Chasers">Ole devil & the Spirit Chasers</a>) and Klimørh (<a href="spotify:artist:3F3SSX2k8cBeEw5FtZz1IH" data-name="Non Opus Dei">Non Opus Dei</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:35VimXXx4wJcy2319LXGaD" data-name="Yfel 1710">Yfel 1710</a> , Alne). The first two albums were of black metal aesthetic, but later the band became a sort of testing ground which enables its members to be independent and explore their own creative freedom. Klimørh and Ævil describe the essence of NARRENWIND as the ability to harken to the Wind of Fools, whose power and direction one cannot foresee.
