Beso Palma is a souvenir, a memory of sunsoaked city streets in Madrid and a token of time spent in the Spanish sun.
The Sydney-based producer draws inspiration from MXXWLL, Tom Misch, Young Franco, Kaytranada, Cosmo’s Midnight & D’Angelo to create a groove-fueled soundscape that pulls from R&B, pop, indie-electro, and film scores. Lyrical storytelling and sonic exploration are cornerstones of Beso Palma’s world, which glides through nostalgia, love, and bittersweet hardship. Diverse in inspiration, Beso Palma isn’t defined by a singular sound, exploring different corners of his musical identity through collaborations with some of Australia’s brightest emerging artists, including Gia Vorne, Brekky Boy, and RISSA.
With the release of early singles “Better” and “Ego”, Beso Palma has garnered strong support from triple j, FBi Radio, and the Australian music media, as well as earning placement on Spotify’s ‘New Dance Beats’. As Beso gears up for the release of his debut EP in October 2021, it’s clear to see this is only the beginning.
