LADY KING is the solo project of Thai x Australian-born singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and educator Lara King. Residing in Gadigal country (Sydney), Lara began her musical journey at age 10 studying classical cello, piano and singing. Lara’s musical influences are drawn from a wide range of styles embedded in classical, soul, RnB, jazz and pop roots. Her love for live instrumentation, harmony and arrangement is executed through the use of strings, horns, enchanting vocals and soulful grooves drawing comparisons to acts such as Raveena, Joy Crookes, and Snoh Aelegra.
