Bicep have unveiled their ambitious new project, CHROMA. Representing a significant evolution for the duo, CHROMA combines a record label, a series of curated events, a brand new & constantly evolving AV / DJ show, & a unique visual identity created in collaboration with David Rudnick.
The releases on CHROMA – which will all feature Ferguson & McBriar in some form – were formulated with an ethos to cover everything “from Acid to Alkaline”. The idea behind the label is twofold: as both a home for their own more underground club focused productions, & also a platform to share their wider musical palette & range of BPMs. There will be a number of collaborations & music released under aliases, each with their own distinct sound & visual identity.
BICEP present CHROMA AV/DJ is the new show which continues the visual collaboration with Zak Norman / Black Box Echo. This audio-visual show will combine new music as well as highlights from the band’s back catalogue.
Hailed by the BBC as “one of the biggest names in UK dance”, Bicep continue to cement themselves as one of the defining global electronic acts of our times. In 2022, almost 1 million people had the chance to see Bicep play live. The duo released their hotly anticipated second album, ‘Isles’, in January 2021, which debuted at #2 on the UK Official Albums Chart & #1 on the UK Official Vinyl Albums Chart, earning them 2x BRITs nominations in the process.
Bicep are proud ambassadors of Youth Music www.youthmusic.org.uk.
