Big Phony sings sad songs. His music pairs well with elevators. Born and raised in New York City, Big Phony’s friends call him hey buddy. His 2 kids call him rarely. He enjoys day-dreaming, sleeping, pizza crust, pennies, an occasional laugh, bubbles, socks, hand me downs, and that’s about it. He released his first of 12 or 15 albums in 2005. He didn’t think people would accept him as “Bobby Choy” so he hopped on the moniker “Big Phony”. SXSW, NPR, Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, and Andrea Bocelli have said nice things about him. So has the lady who sells him his weekly lotto tickets. He lives in Seoul, for now.
