Big Shaq is the music moniker for Multi-Hyphenate British-Born Ghanaian entertainer Michael Dapaah.
Michael’s stardom as a leading British Millennial and Gen Z entertainer skyrocketed when his portrayal of ‘Big Shaq’, went globally viral with the freestyle ‘MAN’S NOT HOT’. Remaining in the charts for 25 weeks, Dapaah’s hilarious content garnered the attention of icons such as Drake, Liam Gallagher, Shaquille O’Neil and the British Parliament. He has since collaborated on pieces with musicians, actors and sports legends, such as Stormzy, Jack Whitehall, Ed Sheeran, Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish and Mo Farah.
Dapaah also created the hugely popular YouTube mockumentary series SWIL aka ‘Somewhere in London’.
