BiggiBanchi is an Afro Reggae/Dancehall singer who began at the age of seven when he started singing with the church children choir.
A very versatile artist and one that needs to be reckon with, Banchi is a very skilled drummer and a percussionist. As to his stage performance, he remains a crowd mover with his unique and charming ways of doing things. He is also a studio engineer with developing skills in recording art. One cannot but ask for more as Banchi has time without numbers demonstrated his undisputable skills singing, rapping, and doing his Dancehall thing.
BiggiBanchi kicked off his solo career back in 2012 and has since then developed his talent. Out of this era, he is seen as one of the most talented reggae export out of Africa with a very distinctive sound that is a blend of Afrobeat and Reggae simply called Afro-Reggae. He released his first body of work "THE REVIVAL.EP" back in 2016. The EP was a complete reggae master piece which is still very much appreciated by reggae lovers across the world. Since his Solo career kicked off, he has performed on the same stage with the likes of Neato C, Fyhasthar, Timaya, Flavour, Burna Boy, Benny Paladin, 2Baba and so on. The young artist is said to have drawn his inspiration from the likes of P-Square, Shaggy, Buju Banton, Majek fashek, Culture stone, I-wayne and Lucky Dube.
